Fields of Gold, watercolor (10X7)

This is something different for a change. I wasn’t doing any artwork at all last week and I decided I should do something different. I did this mainly to practice doing a landscape painting and the scene doesn’t mean anything at all to me. I copied from one of the reference photos on WetCanvas. They have a good selection of copyright free images for artists to use as references. Maybe I’ll try some more landscapes this week.

Yesterday I saw The Bourne Ultimatum with Jeet. I thought it was a good ending to the series and I’m glad I saw it after all. I put off watching them for years because I thought I would be too scared but it turned out that I liked the trilogy, except for the fighting scenes where I closed my eyes. On Saturday, we went to see the PawSox which was actually more fun in my opinion than going to see the Red Sox. Overall, we had a very eventful weekend.

I did this watercolor sketch from the last bouquet of flowers that Jeet bought me. I haven’t been painting a lot recently even though I have a lot of things that I want and need to get done. Last week Jeet bought me some more flowers and I need to paint them soon or else they will die off before I get a chance.

Yesterday I drove back to my parent’s house to do some errands and get some more of my stuff. When I got home, Jeet surprised me with a bouquet of roses and lilies for our one month anniversary. Then we went out for dinner at The Flatbread Company and got some nice organic flatbread pizza.
