Thank you for your servant’s heart

My mother got this rose at church a few weeks ago and I took the initiative to draw it in various orientations on different days, until it withered. It was just an experiment to see how I would draw the same subject differently. I think I like the second one (in graphite) the best. Interestingly, that sketch was the most rushed of the four.

    Oh I just love the one done in blue (pen?). It is just so eloquent with its back turned away from the viewer as it wilts.

    And this looks great..
    I would of never thought of it..
    If you dont mind i might use the idea..
    Im an art student myself..
    but im only a senior in highschool..
    Im in advanced fine art 4..
    And its the greatest class..
    i enjoy it so much..

    i love the roses. they are my favorite. i often draw roses but i must say that you are the best i have ever seen. your work is wonderful, you give the roses meaning and depth. they are beautiful, words can not describe how much i like your work. you have a gift. you are truly the best i have seen. i wish you the best.
