silk rose

I sketched this silk rose before bed last night using a 005 micron pen. I tried drawing it a few other times using straight lines but I finally settled on this more “flowy” version. If I did it again I would use a thicker pen and use less lines.

    Oh, I like this just fine! Thicker lines just wouldn’t suit something as delicate as a rose!

    Very good work Carolyn. I adore your try at peoples’ hands. One of the most difficult for me as well: suggestion: look at da Vinci’s & Michaelangelo’s exquisite examples!

    More of your sketches will be welcomed.
