Peruvian Ocarina
This is for Everday Matters Challenge #17: draw a musical insturment. I had a hard time coming up with ideas today so I decided to draw one of the challenges. This is a Peruvian ocarina, a type of flute like thing. I can’t play it or anything—it’s just a nice little trinket that someone gave me as a gift. I felt like a kid drawing this and then coloring it in. Mircron pen and marker.

Wow, nice precision on the detail! And I love your botanical drawings. That field is long-established as an honored artistic arena—so what if they’re pretty too
I am delighted! I think I suggested in the original challenge that one could draw an ocarina, and I didn’t think anyone would actually do it! The patterning is beautiful.
Wow! It looks real! I have two ocarinas, but they are plain terracotta, not painted. I can play Amazing Grace on them, but that’s about it! Lovely picture!
This a great drawing! And the colors are so beautiful. You did a great job on the design!
BEAUTIFUL!! Each section is so carefully rendered—
That looks so real – amazing attention to detail (I know it echoes the previous comments, but what can I say? It IS that good
Fabulous! Your work does full justice to the following quote by author Perry Paxton: “Excellence is in the details. Give attention to the details and excellence will come.” Keep up the great work!
I love your ocarina drawing—great details!
