resting I am not
I took my last final this morning, so I have off until January 31. I need the break so badly, but unfortunately I have so much to think about right now. I have to attend to all those things I put on the back burner during the semester, such as laundry, cleaning my room, reading my mail, emailing random people and wrapping up other loose ends. And I have Christmas magic to create and not so long to do it. So stay tuned, a lot of pretty pictures are on the way in the next few weeks.

Congratulations on finishing your exams Carolyn! Enjoy your well earned break. Christmas will come one way or another, so try not to stress out too much getting organized!! Looking forward to seeing more of your art in the weeks ahead. :o)

Very vibrant and colorful creation; this would be a perfect candidate for an embroidered design – every bit speaks of underlying intricacy within the overall simplicity: the depth in the flowers, the hint of a different shade of green on the edge of the leaves, the darker shades around the edge of the petals, the line which transitions into your initials – can’t wait to see more of your work!
